Championship round-up: Birmingham relegated, Leeds settle for play-offs

Ipswich Town secured automatic promotion back to the Premier League after a long 22-year wait thanks to their 2-0 victory over Huddersfield in the Championship on Saturday, which finally condemned the Terrirers to relegation to League One - as well as forcing Leeds into the play-offs.

Birmingham also suffered relegation to England's third tier after a tumultuous season, despite winning 1-0 on the day against Norwich.

Elsewhere, Plymouth secured their Championship survival at the expense of Hull's feint play-off hopes.

Birmingham 1-0 Norwich

Birmingham City will ply their trade in England’s third tier for the first time in 30 years, despite a 1-0 victory at St Andrew's after unfavourable results elsewhere. For Norwich City, the play-offs await, where they will come up against Leeds United and the man who last took them to the Premier League in Daniel Farke.
